Storage
Xbox One features a 500GB storage, however it is not upgradable, but can still store in external hardrives.
The Ps4 also has a 500GB storage unit, which is upgradable. But it is still being confirmed if external hardrives are compatible.

RAM
Both consoles feature a 8GB RAM, however, the PS4's GDDR5 ram will be faster than the Xbox's DDR3 ram. Will it make a difference?

Price
The Xbox one has a $500 value, and the PS4 with a $400 value. However, you are forced to buy a Kinect with every Xbox One Console.

News about the new generation Kinect, says that it is the best motion sensing technology used in gaming so far. Tested at E3, the Kinect is: "The most precise gaming motion-sensor ever." Many people were quite astonished when they tried the new Kinect.
However here is one feature that spoils all features. You now have to pay to connect to the Playstation network. However, it is still cheaper than Xbox Live.
The games useable in both the new consoles are discs and downloads. Sadly, the consoles cannot play previous games (i.e. the Xbox 360, or the PS3), and you will be required to buy new discs. As well, as that, Microsoft intended that once a game was used on a specific console, it could not be used on another, as well as the game must be connected to Xbox Live every 24 hours, or you may not play the game.
But after a few "protests", Xbox just HAD to change. Some people in the military were complaining they did not have acsess to internet every 24 hours. Therefore games are now able to be played in remote areas.
